March 29, 2021
(Monday), at 7pm
How do we break free from stereotypes of subordination imposed on Black, fat, and non-standard bodies defined by whiteness and patriarchy? Self-knowledge and self-care for women are a necessary path to healing our bodies, subjectivities, and hearts, which have always been interconnected. And there will be no time for collective struggle and resistance if our emotional well-being is ailing.
Let's discuss self-esteem and self-care from the perspective of African and matriarchal ancestry and Afro-diasporic decolonial thought? We invite you to this conversation with Dandara Barbosa and Caroline Amanda Borges , moderated by Danielle Anatólio .
