The documentary Invisible Bodies addresses the social erasure of Black female bodies through the personal and artistic experiences of eleven Black women, who discuss identity, collective memory, ancestry, affections, and motherhood. Through interviews and performances, they assert themselves as political bodies that make visible their many ways of being, existing, and resisting, while answering the question: what is it to be a Black woman in Brazil?
